In order to manage our meadow, which is over 1200 m² in size, insect-friendly in the long term, Unicontrol Systemtechnik GmbH is taking part in the initiative of the Saxon State Parliament (according to the decision of the Saxon State Parliament on the dual budget 2019/2020) "Saxony blooms".

As part of the project “Dollhouse wanted - Blooming meadows for Saxony's butterflies”, suitable areas between 1000 and 2000 m² in size are provided with certified seed from the Saxon State Foundation for Nature and Environment, which is intended to green meadow areas rich in flowers or newly planted.

The aim of the initiative and the establishment of so-called insect meadows is to promote biotope networking in Saxony by creating flowering areas that serve as a habitat for many insect species.

With our participation, we would like to support this initiative and contribute to insect-friendly management.
